More than 2,300 books were submitted for this year's Lambda Literary Awards, setting a record.
Winners of the award, which honors the best in LGBTQ books, will be revealed June 11.
Here are the nominees for four of the twenty-four categories; the other shortlists, for nonfiction, poetry, and various other genres, can be found on Lambda Literary’s website.
