The confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson have had a decidedly literary bent.

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, speaking directly to the Supreme Court nominee quoted from a Langston Hughes poem on Wednesday.

That poem, "Let America Be America Again," has quite the back story, which you can read about on NPR.
