Award-winning actress Viola Davis has several more reasons to celebrate today.
First, her memoir, Finding Me, was announced as Oprah Winfrey's latest book club pick — and as a result, it spent some time as one of Amazon's top five bestsellers, according to the Associated Press.
(All this before the book is even released — it comes out April 26!)
Davis has delivered a number of impressive acting performances, winning a Tony and an Academy Award for different adaptations of August Wilson’s Fences.
Her interview with Winfrey will be available on Netflix, and both women will appear in an online book club gathering event May 16.
Davis also shared her literary tastes and habits with the New York Times as part of its By the Book feature.
