Happy ten-year anniversary to Gillian Flynn’s novel Gone Girl.

The psychological thriller wasn’t her first novel, but it really put her on the map as an author — and popularized the unreliable antiheroine.

NPR's Mary Louise Kelly invited book critic Maris Kreizman to come on All Things Considered to talk about how Gone Girl has held up over the past decade and the effect it had on its genre.
