If you’re in London, you have a few more days to admire an original copy of William Shakespeare’s First Folio.
The almost four-hundred-year-old book is on display at Sotheby’s London galleries until June 15, at which point it will make its way to New York in time for a July 7 auction.
The Guardian reports that it's among the fewer than twenty First Folios still in private hands and is expected to bring in up to $2.5 million.
This particular copy is perhaps the only one with Scottish roots and no longer has the frontispiece page depicting Shakespeare.
You can read more about why the Shakespeare First Folios are so critical to English literature and see what celebrations are in store for its arrival in the Guardian.
