The Venice Film Festival will feature another premiere of a literary adaptation.

Joyce Carol Oates’s novel Blonde, which fictionalizes Marilyn Monroe's life, will join the adaptation of Don DeLillo's White Noise in being seen first at the August 31-September 10 cinematic celebration.

Blonde is rated NC-17 and stars Ana de Armas as Monroe, Bobby Cannavale as Joe DiMaggio, and Adrian Brody as Arthur Miller.

It will hit Netflix on September 23, but in the meantime, you can watch the trailer for Blonde on YouTube.
