Keanu Reeves will for sure star in the Hulu adaptation of Erik Larson's The Devil in the White City.
The streaming service announced its limited-series order yesterday, with Reeves both starring as architect Daniel H. Burnham and serving as executive producer.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are also serving as executive producers; the former isn't, however, expected to appear on-screen, according to People (citing The Hollywood Reporter).
Deadline says the eight-episode series is targeted for a 2024 launch, with production not expected to begin until 2023.
The Devil in the White City tells of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair as the backdrop to two very different men's achievements: Burnham, the architect who envisioned and created the fair, and H.H. Holmes, a serial killer who used the bustling event as a hunting ground.
