Merriam-Webster has added 370 words to the dictionary.
And of course, every single new addition isn't listed in the blog post announcing the news, but there's a nice roundup of highlights and examples.
From business and technology, you're welcome to join us in feeling old by noting the addition of "dumbphone" (in contrast to smartphone).
Or, like us, you can consult the slang section to translate lingo like "yeet" (an expression of surprise or approval, or the action of throwing forcefully and carelessly).
Other categories include the natural and virtual worlds, food, fun, and ... of course ... health.
