It's award season in the British literary world.
Two more shortlists have come out, on the heels of the Booker Prize nominees: the Goldsmiths Prize and the Baillie Gifford Prize.
The Goldsmiths Prize, which honors fiction that "breaks the mould or extends the possibilities of the novel form," will go to one of the following books:

Seven Steeples by Sara Baume

Maps of Our Spectacular Bodies by Maddie Mortimer

Peaces by Helen Oyeyemi

there are more things by Yara Rodrigues Fowler

Diego Garcia by Natasha Soobramanien and Luke Williams
The winner will be announced November 10 and receive £10,000 (about $11,000).
As for the Baillie Gifford Prize, which honors nonfiction, the following books will compete for £50,000 (about $56,000):
