Another hybrid event is taking place tomorrow in honor of author Salman Rushdie.
The Guardian reports that free tickets are available for both online and in-person attendance at the British Library's An Evening for Salman Rushdie.
The event is from 8-9:30 p.m. London time tomorrow (Thursday, October 13).
(That's 2-3:30 p.m. Central time, if our conversion is correct.)
A number of writers including Monica Ali, Hanif Kureishi, Julian Barnes and Nigella Lawson will participate in the event, which aims to celebrate Rushdie's strength as a writer and activist.
Rushdie was stabbed on stage in August and is recovering from serious injuries sustained during the attack; a suspect has pleaded not guilty to second-degree attempted murder.
