An open letter is urging Penguin Random House to reconsider its publishing deal with Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

Her book, which reportedly brought her a $2 million advance, is said to be about how judges shouldn't bring their personal feelings into rulings.

The organizers of the open letter argue that Barrett did just that in her vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, thus taking away a reproductive right for women.

And so they're asking that PRH consider whether it wants to value money over its company code of conduct and international human rights.

You can read the open letter opposing Barrett's book deal, and members of the US literary community are able to sign it, too.
