The next classic author to be available via daily email: George Orwell.

But Orwell Daily starts with a deeper cut than the novels that most of us could name immediately.

Starting October 28, between 1,000 and 1,500 words of Down and Out in Paris and London will come out each day, reports the Guardian.

That run will last through Christmas, with another not-yet-announced title to be delivered daily starting next year.

Down and Out in Paris and London recounts Orwell's time as a broke writer living in these two European capitals and contains plentiful observation about the poverty he saw in others there.

The effort comes courtesy of the Orwell Foundation; you can sign up for the Orwell Daily on its website.

The basic Orwell Daily is free, but there's a paid option that lets you join a community and comment on posts.
