A book's dedication went viral recently, and NPR has the scoop behind it.

Colonizing Animals by Jonathan Saha begins with "For Toast, the cat, who was no help at all."

But while it may seem like a bit of a dig at the late Toast (who passed away in October 2021), it is, at the same time, an honor, as the author explains.
