Michael Lewis is ready to write about another disaster.

The author of The Big Short (about the shenanigans that tanked the stock market) and The Premonition (about the mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic) is turning to the cryptocurrency world.

A leaked email has revealed that Lewis spent the past six months with Sam Bankman-Fried, founder of the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX.

The Guardian reports, citing other news sources, that Lewis hasn't written anything yet but sees Bankman-Fried's improbable rise as perfect fodder for a book.
