When Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI died, many people probably — logically — expected the announcement of books about him.

What they perhaps weren't predicting, though, was a nearly immediate tell-all from an insider.

But the Associated Press reports that Benedict's longtime personal secretary is publishing Nothing but the Truth: My Life Beside Pope Benedict XVI this month.

And in it, Archbishop Georg Gaenswein promises to tell the truth about the “blatant calumnies,” “dark maneuvers,” mysteries, and scandals of Benedict's career.
