Channing Tatum and Roxane Gay are writing a romance novel

You might know Channing Tatum as the actor who played a male book-cover model in the delightful rom-com The Lost City, about a kidnapped romance author.

But he's also an author himself.

His children's series, Sparkella, will have a third entry soon ... and Tatum will soon have something for adult readers, too.

He and writer/activist Roxane Gay plan to co-write a romance novel, as it turns out.

“She has almost a roughed-out outline of a story that we both love,” he told Vanity Fair. “We just got to find time to do it."
