Sunday night is a melancholy time for many of those who work Monday through Friday.
So here's a sad tale to fit the mood.
Back in the 1990s, the Disney amusement park in Paris (then called Euro Disney, now known as Disneyland Paris) was set to feature an entire area inspired by Jules Verne's writings.
Much was planned, but the only part that came to fruition was a roller-coaster themed along with Verne's novel From the Earth to the Moon.
But ... you can't ride the original one anymore; it's been dismantled and rebranded twice since 2004.
Literary Hub summarizes the saga of Discoveryland, as the Verne area was to be known, and shares a link to its source — an episode of investigative YouTube series Defunctland.
