There's fame ... and then there's infamy.
We can't say as to whether romance author Faleena Hopkins actively sought one over the other, but she's landed the latter.
People magazine reports that Hopkins, who caused quite the stir in Romancelandia years ago when she tried to copyright the word "cocky," has been found safe.
Hopkins had been reported missing January 30 and located February 17.
The tale gets stranger, though.
Hopkins was arrested January 27 and "charged with stopping or parking on the roadway, operating in excess of the posted speed limit and fleeing or attempting to elude police," according to People.
She was in jail until January 30, the day she was reported missing.
