Self-help authors are happy to share their wisdom with us, but they don't always have all the answers either (at least not immediately).
For example, Katherine May wrote a best-selling memoir about making it through a difficult period of her life.
Wintering came out right before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world at large, though, and while it helped many readers, it wasn't quite enough for the author.
So May had to come up with a new bag of tricks.
