Tommy Wallach has undergone a number of career shifts, in the storytelling arena.

First he was a novelist; next, he and a friend launched escape rooms that focused more on actual stories than simply situations.

But then ... COVID-19 and its shutdowns hit.

So Wallach and his collaborators came up with a new idea: What about a narrative puzzle game to be played at home?

Enter Mother of Frankenstein, which draws on the life of the celebrated author Mary Shelley.

Wallach describes how Mother of Frankenstein went from pandemic daydream to Kickstarter success — and reality — at Literary Hub.
