When the Pulitzer Prizes were announced, a very familiar name appeared under the fiction heading: Barbara Kingsolver.

But fewer folks likely recognized the other name there: Hernan Diaz.

Award panels, however, are quite familiar with him; both of his novels, In the Distance and Trust, have been under consideration for the Pulitzer Prize, with the latter winning this year.

Each novel has also won another award, in addition to Pulitzer consideration.

If that makes you want to learn more about him, great news: Diaz has an entire section on his website dedicated to interviews he did surrounding Trust.
