The French publisher arrested by counter-terrorism police in London and held for almost a day in April has finally received his laptop and phone.

Ernest Moret's lawyer said the items were confiscated more than ten weeks ago and held when Moret refused to provide passwords for the devices, reports the Guardian.

And police told the lawyer that information from the phone's SIM card was downloaded, but not yet reviewed.

Moret was questioned about his support for French President Emmanuel Macron and his participation in anti-government protests; a British independent reviewer of terrorism legislation is looking at the case.
