Celebrity book clubs have released their picks for July 2023.

Reese Witherspoon selected Yellowface by R.F. Kuang.

The book features aspiring author June Hayward whose envy of her friend, Athena Liu, leads her to steal the latter's manuscript — and ethnicity — upon Athena's untimely death.

Jenna Bush Hager picked Banyan Moon by Thao Thai.

The novel begins with the death of family matriarch Minh, who leaves her daughter and granddaughter — who are estranged from each other — the ancestral home; it follows their stumbling path forward while also revisiting Minh's journey from Vietnam to America.

Good Morning America chose Save What's Left by Elizabeth Castellano.

It's the story of Kathleen, whose husband of thirty years decides to head out in search of himself; the reeling Kathleen leaves Kansas to an East Coast beach town, which turns out not to be the paradise it appeared on paper ... yet perhaps actually exactly what she needed.

You can read an excerpt of Save What's Left in GMA's announcement of its selection.
