My Fourth of July tradition has become hosting some dear college friends and their daughter for a few days ... and this year we added their mothers, too.
But the rest of the world hasn't been simply splashing around a pool, coloring pictures, swapping book recommendations during lazy mornings, and chowing down on all sorts of cheesy dishes.
