Have you ever thought about reading a screenplay?

It rarely, if ever, occurs to me to read a screenplay.

As Olivia Rutigliano points out, we read dramatic plays in school (or sometimes outside), and I know I've read a few novelizations of TV shows or movies.

But Rutigliano makes a case at Literary Hub for reading a screenplay this summer and is even so kind as to recommend a few, too.
