Perhaps unsurprisingly, author Salman Rushdie is struggling more with emotional wounds than physical ones, almost a year after he was stabbed on stage at an event.

In a conversation with the BBC, Rushdie said his body is "more or less OK" but that his therapist "has a lot of work to do."

He also said he's currently undecided on whether he wants to attend the trial of the man charged with attempted murder in the attack.

"There's one bit of me that actually wants to go and stand on the court and look at him and there's another bit of me that just can't be bothered," Rushdie said.
