Before my first trip to Boston, I asked someone who had attended school there where I should go.

Among her suggestions: the Make Way for Ducklings sculpture.

It turns out that I could do a double dose of Robert McCloskey tourism this fall, when I'm set to return to Boston.

The New York Times covered an appearance by his daughter at Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick, Maine, which will continue to show sixty-eight of his original illustrations in an exhibit called The Art of Wonder.

The Art of Wonder will run through October 15; head to the NY Times to read about McCloskey's daughter's live reading of some of his works, including Blueberries for Sal (for which she served as the inspiration).
