The author of a new biography of Elon Musk has admitted to and clarified an error in one online excerpt of the book.
The Guardian reports that when the Washington Post first published the passages from Walter Isaacson's Elon Musk, Musk pushed back and received first a clarification, then an outright admission of error.
So as not to confuse anyone, what it should have said was that well before a Ukrainian attack on a Russian naval base, SpaceX had a policy that forbad emergency activation of Starlink satellite internet coverage during a "major act of war."
The attack ultimately failed.
Other Guardian coverage of the biography noted that Musk compared being around then-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani to being in a "mob scene."
