The house in Haworth, England, where the Brontë sisters lived for many years draws about a million visitors a year.

Now, thanks to a significant donation, there's reason to hope the house in which they were born could eventually see the same.

The Guardian reports that Nigel West, who's descended from a relative of Charlotte Brontë's husband, has made a "significant donation" to a crowdfunding campaign to purchase and renovate the house in Thornton, England.

The property is currently a B&B called Charlotte's Way but would become a cultural and education center, under this new vision.
