It's Black History Month in the United States, and that of course means reading recommendations.
NPR has six books to help young readers learn about Black history, and Book Riot shared a list of must-read new(er) books by Black authors, in honor of the month.
The latter list included one of my personal favorite reads of the past few years: Such A Fun Age by Kiley Reid.
Reid has just come out with her second novel, Come and Get It, which takes us to a college campus where a resident assistant takes what she thinks will be an easy opportunity ... and finds herself entangled with a professor and three students.
You can read an excerpt of Come and Get It at Literary Hub, and you can also enjoy interviews with Reid in the Guardian and at Electric Literature.
