February 14 has passed, but as anyone who’s been to the store recently knows, Valentine’s Day hasn’t been fully cleared out quite yet.

That included our RSS feeder this morning … a few posts may have dropped in yesterday but didn’t catch our eye until later.

So for those who don’t mind the holiday extending over, here are some love-themed posts.

  • This one's for those who find the holiday annoying: Cormac McCarthy valentine candy hearts (Book Riot).

  • Crushes don't have to be on people — here's how to know whether you have a crush on a book (Reactor).

  • The podcast It's Been a Minute analyzes whether there's a link between the type of romantic spice you might enjoy in a book versus what you'd like in real life (NPR).

  • Julie Schwartz Gottman and John Gottman discuss their new book, Fight Right: How Successful Couples Turn Conflict into Connection (NPR).
