A few pieces about authors who are pulling no punches in their nonfiction came across our (figurative) desk this week.
First was a New Yorker profile of memoirist Diana Athill and what made her particular honesty so different from other writers'.
Then came The Guardian's interview with activist and poet Nikki Giovanni, who has a memoir and a collection of her previous work coming out this year.
And finally, we have Kara Swisher's interview to promote Burn Book: A Tech Love Story, which NPR describes as a tell-all on the titans of the tech industry.
