The winners of the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards, which honor books that contribute to our understanding of racism and appreciation of diversity, have been announced: Maxine Hong Kingston (lifetime achievement); Ned Blackhawk's The Rediscovery of America (nonfiction); Teju Cole's Tremor (fiction); and Monica Youn's From From (poetry).
