From the stacks: Libraries in the news

Two posts in my RSS feeders, both about libraries, could not have been any more different.

Condé Nast Traveler highlighted the most beautiful libraries in the world — such an uplifting, inspiring thing to read!

And then ... The New York Times used the recent news that Harvard University would remove a book bound in human skin from its library as a springboard for more reporting on the issue of grotesque items in rare-book collections.
