Celebrity book clubs have released their picks for January 2025.

Reese Witherspoon selected The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan.

The novel follows the person behind, among many other identities, bestselling author Cate Kay as she finds her way back to the home she long-ago fled.

Jenna Bush Hager picked The Life Cycle of the Common Octopus by Emma Knight.

The book introduces us to Pen, who hopes to uncover what her parents back in Canada are hiding from her during her first year at university in Edinburgh ... and who, of course, runs into even more (albeit unrelated) questions as she pursues this truth.

Good Morning America chose Homeseeking by Karissa Chen.

The story brings long-separated lovers Haiwen and Suchi back together, six decades after their relationship ended abruptly, and shares what they've encountered in that time.

You can read an excerpt of Homeseeking in GMA's announcement of its selection.

Oprah Winfrey decided on A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.

This repeat pick is a guide to leaving ego behind and how it benefits not just the individual, but the world as a whole.
