Here's a roundup of news on adaptations or productions of literature.

• Helen Mirren will play author Patricia Highsmith in the film adaptation of Joanna Murray-Smith's play Switzerland (Good Housekeeping).

• Peter Swanson’s novel Kill Your Darlings isn't even out yet, but it's already announced that Julia Roberts will star in and co-produce the movie adaptation of the June 10 release (The Hollywood Reporter).

• Also not out yet, but set for a film adaptation: Killer Bee, a graphic novel by David Crownson; the movie will star DeWanda Wise (Variety).

• However, Hulu is no longer developing a TV series adaptation of A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (Book Riot).
