• Robert DeNiro, Michelle Monaghan, and Adam Scott will star in a film adaptation of The Whisper Man by Alex North; there's no premiere date set yet (Netflix).

• Tanya Smith’s memoir Never Saw Me Coming: How I Outsmarted the FBI and the Entire Banking System — and Pocketed $40 Million will become a movie starring Janelle Monáe, who will also produce the film (Variety). 

• The director of the upcoming movie One Battle After Another, loosely based on Thomas Pynchon's Vineland, has shared first footage of the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, and Sean Penn (The AV Club).
