Here are the 2025 National Book Critics Circle Award winners: We Do Not Part, written by Han Kang and translated by e. yaewon and Paige Aniyah Morris (fiction); Empire of AI by Karen Hao (nonfiction); A Perfect Turmoil by Alex Green (biography); Mother Mary Comes to Me by Arundhati Roy (autobiography); Night Watch by Kevin Young (poetry); and Hayek's Bastards by Quinn Slobodian (criticism) (National Book Critics Circle).

Sleep Tight, Disgusting Blob by Huw Aaron, Evie and Maryam’s Family Tree by Janeen Hayat, and A Language of Dragons by SF Williamson have received the Waterstones Children’s Prize (The Guardian).
