  • Author Liane Moriarty is writing a sequel to Big Little Lies, called Big Little Truths — and it turns out that this novel will the basis for the previously announced season three of the Big Little Lies TV adaptation (The Hollywood Reporter).

  • Actor, director, and musician Idris Elba is cowriting a thriller series with author Adam Hamdy; the first installment, Exiles, comes out in May 2027 (Penguin Random House).

  • Jonathan Franzen’s The Corrections has long been the topic of potential screen adaptations, but now it seems like a reality, with Meryl Streep set to star in a Netflix limited series based on it (Deadline).
