Here's how pop culture and literature have been intersecting lately ...

  • Oprah Winfrey has struck a deal to move her podcast to Wondery, which means — among other effects — further integration between Winfrey's empire, including her book club, and Amazon (The Hollywood Reporter).

  • Authors Brené Brown and Adam Grant didn't speak to each other for four years after an internet argument, but now, they're not just back in contact, they're also co-hosting a new podcast (People).

  • If you missed the new Wuthering Heights film in theaters this year, but have an HBO Max subscription, good news: the film starts streaming there May 1 (The Hollywood Reporter).

  • Amazon's first teaser trailer for Verity — based on Colleen Hoover's novel and starring Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson — is out now; the movie hits theaters October 2 (Deadline).

  • We also have a teaser trailer and premiere date (June 21) for season three of HBO's House of The Dragon, based on author George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire universe (Deadline).

  • Gerry Conway, a writer for Marvel Comics whose creations included the Punisher and Ms. Marvel, died Monday at age seventy-three (Variety).
