Here's how pop culture and literature have been intersecting lately ...

  • TV veteran Chuck Lorre, known for his work on many comedy series including Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon, is writing a memoir; Sitcom comes out October 13 (People).

  • Read some excerpts from A Little More Love, a biography of the late Olivia Newton-John by Matthew Hild; the book is already out for Kindle, and the print version releases tomorrow (People).

  • Prime Video has officially ordered the TV series Fourth Wing, based on the Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros; Michael B. Jordan will serve as executive producer (Variety).

  • An even longer wait for a romance series adaptation is close to being over: Elle Kennedy's Off Campus books are finally premiering today as a TV show on Prime Video (People).

  • ABC has renewed the show Will Trent — based on Karin Slaughter’s series of the same name — for its fifth season (Variety).

  • The show Young Sherlock, inspired by Andrew Lane’s Young Sherlock Holmes book series, will get a second season at Prime Video (IGN).
