• As the TV series based on Elin Hilderbrand's The Five-Star Weekend begins streaming, the author insists that she's more than happy to keep her involvement with the screen limited to having her work adapted (Deadline).

• Morgan Spector and Rebecca Hall are rumored to be on the cast list for Netflix's series adaptation of The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown; Spector would play Professor Robert Langdon, while Hall would play Katherine Solomon (Deadline).

• The movie version of Kristin Hannah's novel The Nightingale, starring sisters Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning, will now come out March 19, to capitalize on that date's proximity to 2027's Easter weekend (The Hollywood Reporter).
