We posted last week about Kindle Direct Publishing’s new attempt to prevent authors from gaming the page royalties payment system.

And unsurprisingly, someone has already discovered (and used) a loophole.

David Gaughran posted on Sunday that one author “has made the most cosmetic of changes to her stuffed books — she has just appended the phrase ‘A Romance Compilation’ to her book titles — and is clearly thumbing her nose at Amazon.”

His blog features a full analysis of this particular writer's actions.
