All the Margaret Atwood-related talk nowadays seems to tie back to The Handmaid’s Tale, and for obvious reasons. 

Lost in the shuffle has been the fiftieth anniversary (!) of her first published novel, The Edible Woman.

In honor of both events, Terri-Jane Dow re-read every single one of Atwood’s novels.

She shares her takeaways from this rewarding, intense challenge in the Chicago Review of Books.
