Exciting news for fantasy fans: You can live in the house where J.R.R. Tolkien wrote The Hobbit.
Well, that is, if you have $6 million or the credit history to acquire said funds.
That’s how much it’ll cost you to acquire the Oxford, England, home where Tolkien lived from 1930 and 1947 and also wrote parts of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
According to the description on House Beautiful, among the 4,000-square-foot house’s other selling points are its six bedrooms, two reception rooms, walk-in pantry, high ceilings, and huge windows.
