An author whose book made the Booker Prize longlist has been arrested in Zimbabwe.

The Guardian reports that Tsitsi Dangarembga, author of This Mournable Body, was caught up in a crackdown on anti-corruption protests.

Dangarembga had been tweeting in support of arrested journalists before she herself was taken into custody, during which she tweeted updates of her detention and also retweeted news from other protesters.
