We now know what Pope Francis’s pandemic project was: writing a book.
Let Us Dream was ghostwritten by Austen Ivereigh (Francis’s English-language biographer) during the Vatican’s coronavirus lockdown.
The book, already a bestseller ahead of its December 1 release, addresses such contemporary topics as the police killing of George Floyd and its subsequent protests as well as COVID-19 skeptics.
It also expresses Francis’s visions of and hopes for greater equality, in all sense of the word, in a post-COVID world.
