Hugh Laurie is taking on several roles in an upcoming adaptation of Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? by Agatha Christie

Deadline reports that the House star will write, direct, and executive produce a three-part limited series based on the novel for BritBox in North America.

You’ll have to wait until 2022 to watch the series, but we may learn sooner whether Laurie is able to also act in it.

Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?, which came out in 1934, sets two golfers on the hunt for a murderer after they find a dying man near the course.
