It’s a great time to be Stacey Abrams.

Her new release, a political thriller called While Justice Sleeps, is at the top of the New York Times bestseller list, and she’s already signed a deal to write two more novels starring its heroine, Avery Keene, according to Publishers Weekly.

Additionally, When Justice Sleeps has been picked up by Working Title Television to become a TV series.

Deadline reports that Abrams will serve as an executive producer for the show.

Abrams previously wrote and sold several romance novels under the name Selena Montgomery before gaining more prominence as a politician and voting rights activist.
