Israeli airstrikes destroyed the Samir Mansour bookshop in Gaza last month.

But since then, over $200,000 has been raised to rebuild it, and tens of thousands of books have been donated to restocking its shelves, according to the Guardian

Human rights lawyers Mahvish Rukhsana and Clive Stafford Smith are overseeing the campaign; the former told the Guardian that the goal is to replace the 100,000 books lost and to also provide Mansour with enough money to build a library next door.

The Guardian has more about the Mansour bookstore, which its GoFundMe page says was the biggest and best-loved bookstore in Gaza.
